Neil Grimmer co-founded Plum Organics in 2007, and he has continued to lead the company since Campbell acquired it in 2013. He reports to Denise Morrison, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Neil has led the launch of more than 100 innovative products, making Plum Organics the fastest-growing organic baby and kids’ food brand in the U.S. He also pioneered the first to-market spouted pouch, and today, Plum is North America’s largest manufacturer of the award-winning, eco-pouch format.
Previously, Neil spent a year as the Vice President of Innovation for Clif Bar and Company, and six years as Senior Designer with the food and beverage strategic business unit of IDEO design and innovation consulting firm.
Neil has earned several industry honors, including Ernst & Young’s 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year, one of Businessweek’s most promising social entrepreneurs in 2012, and Brand Packaging magazine’s 2010 Brand Innovator.
Inc. magazine named Plum its #63 fastest-growing privately held American company two years in a row, and the San Francisco Business Times named it the #1 fastest-growing private company in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Neil earned his B.F.A. degree in conceptual art and sculpture from California College of the Arts, and his M.F.A. from Stanford University.
